Hien's retainer, Gosetsu, comes to recall Yugiri and able-bodied Doman refugees, setting the stage for Hien's return. Unable to confront the Garleans head-on in Ala Mhigo, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn follow Alphinaud's suggestion to foment revolution in Doma to divide the Imperials' forces.
